THE CAD
Bryan Leech is a cad.
Or, he *was* a cad.
No one is quite certain.
Once the quintessential playboy, Bryan claims he’s done with wild parties and weekend benders. No more one night stands leading to mornings he can’t remember; no more binges and blackouts; no more exploits plastered all over the tabloids and rag sheets. According to Bryan, he’s cleaning up his act.
The only problem is, no one believes him.

THE CO-ED
Eilish Cassidy never thought she’d be a mother at nineteen or still in college at twenty-four. Cut off from every member of her family except her favorite cousin, she’s finally managed to put her life back together. Stronger and wiser, Eilish enters her last semester of university determined to stand on her own. Now she just needs to find an internship.
The only problem is, her best option—by far—places her directly in the path of her son’s father, and he doesn’t remember her at all.

THE PLAN
Bryan is determined to prove he’s changed. Eager to settle down with the right woman, he’s got his sights set on the gorgeous redhead who seems terribly familiar.
Eilish is determined to hide her secret. She’ll do anything to keep her child safe, even if that means ignoring her own wishes and desires.
But what happens when Bryan starts to remember? And what will it take for Bryan to convince the girl he forgot that she’s unforgettable?

5 Stars

The Cad and The Co-Ed is the third title in the Rugby series, and was my first time reading anything written by this writing duo.

I adored The Cad and The Co-Ed it's a heartwarming read full of humor. The banter was fun, flirty and engaging and antics of Eilish and Brian, and the other characters in the book had me constantly laughing out loud. Sean's obsession for fashion was quite hilarious, and I adored his character. Now I need to go back and read the previous titles in this series.

Eilish is a strong, sweet, caring, stubborn and sassy individual. She incredibly endearing and relate-able. I loved that she was such a devoted mother to her young son. She has a great deal of family baggage.

Brian has a reputation as a player both on and off the field, he's the life of the party, kind of wild and thoughtless. He fairly earned the reputation before becoming acknowledging he was an alcoholic. With the changes to his lifestyle he's become like an old man in a thirty year old's body. I found him to be completely like-able and found myself wanting him to find his happy ever after.

The love scenes are sweet, sexy and sensual. Right from the very start of this book, I became captivated with this engaging story line, and I literally couldn't put it down and read the whole book in one sitting.

If you like a second chance romance, sport romance, or romance featuring strong family ties, this is the book for you. I highly recommend The Cad and the Co-Ed for me it's a definite five star read.
