| 3.5 Stars Against the Rules, is the first book by author Julia Black, and is the first title in the Liberty Cove series. I found Against the Rules to be an enjoyable read, but unfortunately it didn't wow me. I enjoyed the single parent trope and found the characters to be quite complex, both with a great deal of baggage due to their upbringing. The love scenes were definitely hot and steamy and I look forward to seeing this author develop in the future. |
