Sage Mayson had Kimberly Cullen once, and the memory of that brief encounter has tortured him since the moment he pushed her away. He should have followed his gut, but he didn’t, and now he’s left watching the woman he wants more than anything from afar.

“Do we have to do this right now?” I sigh, and he tosses his arm around my shoulders and pulls me into his side.
“We’ve been doing this for months now. I’ve seen the way you look at him when you think no one will notice, and I see the way he looks at you, not giving a fuck if everyone sees. Even when he thought you and I were a thing, he still made it perfectly clear to those who were watching that if by some chance he got a shot, you would be his.”
“I really think you are reading way too much into this.”
“Am I?”
“I don’t know.”

Although Until Sage is the second title in the Until Him series, it's linked with all the Until Her series as well. Anyone who has read the previous titles will be familiar with both the hero and heroine of Until Sage. I like many others eagerly anticipated reading Sage and Kimberly's story after they were introduced in the previous titles, although you could easily read Until Sage as a stand alone.
Sage and Kimberly story is one of insta-love, it's well paced and whilst it's what Ms Reynolds is known for, it contains a low amount of angst and drama.
Sage is a complete alpha hero, strong, bossy and knows what he wants. He's also sweet, sexy, caring and protective. Sage is particularly endearing, but both characters are quite like-able. Kim has a complex history, that influences her decisions and actions. Both characters have vulnerabilities tied to their past, that are revealed throughout the story line.
As all the books in the Until him/her book are interconnected, I loved seeing the previous characters make an appearance within the story line. I always love Ms Reynolds epilogues, but found Until Sage's to be particularly sweet and heartwarming and I look forward to reading more of this series in the future.
Overall it's a sweet and swoony read, that I recommend to anyone who enjoys a contemporary romance or insta-love story, with love angst and drama.
