Manic Monday is the first in the Charity Case series, and as I've come to expect from this writing duo, it was a thoroughly entertaining and enjoyable read.
Victoria is a divorced single mother who has a lot on her plate. Between working full time, studying, caring for her mother and daughter the last thing she has time for is a relationship. Her ex left her with a lot of baggage, and self doubt!
Reed is honest, determined, driven, kind, caring, compassionate, honest and faithful. He's alos a lawyer much like her ex and was the best man at her wedding. Once Reed makes up his mind he is tenacious and is determined to get Victoria to give his a chance.
Their connection and chemistry is not only realistic, but sweet and sexy. I adored the banter this pair shares that is fun, flirty and argumentative.
I look forward to more of the Charity Case series.
